This route sums a panoply of historical and natural attractions that reside on the south side of Tagus River.

Drawing a straight line to the south of Lisbon, we will drive on the 25th of April Bridge heading to Almada. Riding a classic convertible car on a cable-stayed bridge is an unique experience.

Reaching “Cristo Rei”, the group will enjoy free time to access to the top of the 75 meters structure via elevator. At the top awaits a 360 degrees view, 144 meters above sea level.

South Side Beach is famous for natural beaches. There is the option of lunch right on the beach, tasting fresh fish or the seafood Portugal is so famous for. Your guide will know a wide range of restaurants, taste matching your expectations.

Our route follows to Cabo Espichel, a natural wonder where there was once a naval battle opposing the Portuguese and the Moors that was crucible to the birth of the mighty portuguese nation.

Sesimbra village follows. A picturesque fisherman’s village, it borders Arrábida Natural Park  – distinguished as UNESCO Natural Heritage Site. Sesimbra Moorish Castle is something unmissable, so we do enlist a visit to the Moorish Castle.  An historical attraction that makes you travel in time right to when the moors ruled these territories.

To our great pleasure – on the way back – we do cross the bridge again, and if weather conditions act accordingly, we do take the cover and let repeat the stunning experience of crossing the 25th of April bridge.
